as I fall

look for me
in the colors
of the autumn leaves
shades of
red
yellow
green
painted against
the blue sky
emerging
to distract you
notice me
breathe me in
smile
there is no other memory
that reaches for you more
catch me as I fall
as I fall
as I fall
