unfinished

these words never cease to amaze me
as they come storming from their vault
relentless expulsion
pleading for freedom
only to make room for more
and each and every time
I try to bleed down
an uncharted channel
the tides bring me back home
and in the final recite
all weave their way
through mirrors
and from underneath
invisible cloaks
caressing and holding
revealing what is
and will always be
the best story ever told
was the one I never finished
