Hi, I’m Melissa Leigh Clarke—writer, creator, and lover of stories rooted in wonder, heart, and the natural world.

I write children’s books that blend adventure, emotion, and a touch of woodland magic. My debut story, Freya and the Whispering Woods, grew from a love of nature and the quiet strength found in the small, brave moments that shape us.

Through Freya’s journey, I hope to create stories that feel comforting, meaningful, and memorable for children and the grownups reading beside them.
